Still Here

Hey, it’s been a while. I haven’t been loafing, though. Six or so (who’s counting?) rounds of editing among a couple of editors have passed since I updated you on the progress. We’ll have the galley proofs soon, where the tedious work starts.

The galleys are the last chance to change anything that’s not really, really, very wrong. I’ve heard you should read each word aloud or read from back to front so you don’t get into the story, among other techniques. It’s the first time for me.

Anything gets through this stage, it’s probably just tough luck.
